Conductor: Isaac Yisak Seo

Isaac is a Canadian conductor and piano pedagogue. In addition to being the conductor of Toronto Sohrae Youth Orchestra, he also serves as the music director of The Seohan Orchestra, The Toronto Korean Canadian Choir, and the Encore Concert Series. Additionally, he is a conductor-in-residence with the Canada Youth Chamber Orchestra. His education includes studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Montreal University, and the Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. Isaac earned his bachelor’s degree from the Julliard School and a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music on a full scholarship. Isaac participated in Maestro Uri Myer’s Doctoral Conducting courses at the University of Toronto. Isaac adjudicates various music competitions, including the Kiwanis Music Festival, the Unionville Music Competition, and the Ontario Music Festival Association (OMFA). He also gives master classes throughout North America and Europe.
