  • Rehearsals are on Friday evenings 5:30-7:30pm. You are expected to arrive between 5:10-5:20pm.
  • Some weeks are full orchestra rehearsals and some weeks are sectional rehearsals.
  • You need to bring your own instrument, music binder, pencil, music stand, and water bottle.
  • Advanced string students have the opportunity to play in a string chamber ensemble and present it at the final concert in April.

  • Advanced wind students have the opportunity to play in a wind chamber ensemble and present it at the final concert in April.
  • Winter concert/open house in December.

  • Motivated students have the opportunity to compete in the internal concerto competition.
  • Winner(s) perform a concerto with the orchestra at the final concert in April.
  • Repertoire must be pre-approved by the teachers before entering the competition.
  • Camp day is usually on Easter Monday every year.
  • All members are expected to be at rehearsal from early afternoon to late evening.
  • Lunch is provided and parent volunteers are very appreciated.

  • Pizza is provided. Members are expected to clean up after themselves and prepare themselves to be presentable on stage.
  • Concert attire is black long sleeve shirt, black pants, black socks, black shoes.
