2025-26 Season Overview
Auditions

- September 19, 2025.
- Audition fee: $20 (please include your name and instrument in the eTransfer)

- Late applications are still open for the following instruments: Oboe, Bassoon, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba. Live auditions are replaced with recording submissions.
- If your instrument is not listed above and you still really want to join, please send us an email.
Membership Fee
- Fall term: $550 per person. Discount for two siblings: $1000/two siblings.
- Winter term: $350 per person. (this means total $900 per year/person)
- Students who register only for the Winter term: $750.
- The fee includes: weekly rehearsals and snacks, Camp Day in April, Winter concert, Final concert, photo, video, and certificate fee.
Rehearsals

- Orientation and first rehearsal October 3.
- Every Friday 5:30-7:30pm. Arrive by 5:10-5:20pm to set-up and warm-up.
- No rehearsals on the following Fridays: Dec. 12, Dec. 19, Dec. 26, Jan. 2, Mar. 13, Apr. 3
Concerto Competition

- Application due by November 20, 2025.
- Audition/competition on November 21, 2025.
- You must get pre-approval on your repertoire selection before you apply.
December Concert

- December 5, 2025, 6:30pm.
- At Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Atrium.
Winter Break & March Break
- Winter break Dec. 12 – Jan. 2
- March break Mar. 13
Camp Day

- April 6, 2026. (Easter Monday)
- Exact time TBA – it will be approximately 12pm-6pm.
- If the weather is nice, we might eat lunch outside, so please dress accordingly.
- No rehearsal on April 3 (Good Friday)
Final Concert

- Saturday, April 25, 2026. At Glenn Gould Studio, in the CBC Building. You will enter through the Stage Entrance at 25 John Street. Map below. Exact entry instructions will be emailed, so please read those carefully.
- Concert is in the evening but you will be expected to be at Glenn Gould Studio in the early afternoon for dress rehearsal. Exact time TBA.
- Dress in concert attire: black long sleeve shirt, black pants, black socks, black shoes.
- If you forget any of your: instrument, music, concert attire, you may not be able to go on stage. Please make yourself a list of everything you plan to bring and check it twice as if you’re Santa Claus.
